About Treasure
State Polytechnic of Malang (Politeknik Negeri Malang - POLINEMA) is a vocational higher education institution located in Malang City, Indonesia.
One of the long-standing departments is the Accounting Department, which is established in 1986. The establishment of the Department received assistance from The Australian Project. Since November 2004 Universitas Brawijaya Polytechnic has obtained independent status to become State Polytechnic of Malang. In 2018, the State Polytechnic of Malang has obtained an “A” accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN PT) and in 2019 the Accounting Department of the Malang State Polytechnic has established a new study program, namely the Master of Applied Accounting Information Systems (Magister Terapan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi - MTSIA).
In 2020, the MTSIA has held the 1st AISyCom (Accounting Information System Competition) competition with the theme "Digital Technology for Accounting Information System". Participants compete with each other and argue regarding the quality and capability of using information system technology in the accounting field in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0. Furthermore, in 2021, the MTSIA held the 2nd AISyCom competition with the theme "Glow Up Your Business". Participants presented brilliant concepts and ideas to help the business world stay competitive and run efficiently after the Covid-19 pandemic.
For 2022, the MTSIA will increase the level into international competition in order to expand discussions on current issues in Accounting, Management and Business under the name "International Management, Accounting, and Business Tournament (TREASURE)". The competition will carry the theme “Capturing the Technology for Today's Management, Accounting, and Business” inviting all young people who will later become part of the business world to jointly capture each other's attention, study, and discuss accounting technology today and future. Certainly not to make us worry about the future, but to make us ready to seize all opportunities.
